NODE.JS & NEXT.JS
Node.js and Next.js hosting, deployed from GitHub.
Static Next.js and React sites run on Starter. Node.js servers — Express, NestJS, server-rendered Next.js — run on Business and Pro with a MySQL or PostgreSQL database, HTTPS and Cloudflare in front. Billed in LKR.
WHICH PLAN
Static site or Node.js server?
| Your app | What it needs | Plan |
|---|---|---|
React (Vite/CRA) or Next.js with output: "export" | Static files on a CDN | Starter |
| Express, Fastify or NestJS API | A Node.js process, often a database | Business |
| Next.js with SSR, API routes or middleware | A Node.js server | Business |
| Full-stack app with heavy traffic or background work | More CPU, Redis | Pro |
| App with custom system packages, or several services | Containers | Docker hosting |

PRODUCTION BASICS
What a Node.js app needs in production.
Running node server.js on a laptop is not the same as running it in production. A production setup needs:
- A process manager that restarts the app if it crashes and after a reboot.
- A reverse proxy in front of the app to handle HTTPS, compression and connection limits.
- SSL and a domain pointed at the right place.
- Environment variables for secrets, kept out of your Git repository.
- Logs you can read when something breaks.
On NevaraCloud we provide that layer, so you deploy your code and set your environment variables. If you're doing it on your own server, follow our Node.js deployment guide.
DEPLOYS
Deploy from GitHub.
Every plan includes GitHub integration, so your site deploys from your repository instead of FTP uploads. Keep secrets out of the repo and set them as environment variables instead.
Cloudflare sits in front of every site for the CDN, SSL and DDoS protection — read how Cloudflare fits in front of a server if you want the details.

FAQ
Node.js hosting questions.
Can I host a Next.js app that uses server-side rendering?
Yes, on Business or Pro, where it runs as a Node.js server. If your Next.js site works with static export (no API routes, middleware or per-request rendering), Starter at LKR 1,500 is enough.
Which Node.js frameworks work?
Anything that runs as a Node.js process and listens on a port: Express, Fastify, NestJS, Next.js, Nuxt, Remix, Astro in server mode and similar. If your app needs extra system packages, Docker hosting is the better fit.
Do you support PostgreSQL?
Yes. Business and Pro include a MySQL or PostgreSQL database. Pro adds Redis.
Can you deploy it for me?
Yes. If you'd rather not set up the build, environment variables and domain yourself, our deployment help covers it. It's quoted after we look at the project.
